ABOUT THOMAS COFFIN

Master sculptor, painter, and mold maker. Formerly a partner in one of only four historic restoration companies sanctioned by the City of New York Landmarks Commission to work on historic structures. Recreated architectural elements from cast stone, carved stone, GFRC, GFRG, cast iron, bronze, and aluminum on buildings such as Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian, Carnegie Hall, The Pierre Hotel, The Audubon Society Building, West Point Military Academy, Chamber of Commerce Building, The University Club, and AT&T Building. Consultant for construction and placement of monumental bronze sculpture at United Nations Sculpture Garden (gift from Soviet Union). 

Project manager and lead sculptor for two scenic companies based in Arizona. Regional, national, and international projects. In charge of design, fabrication, and installation of sculptural and architectural elements for themed environments including restaurants, nightclubs, casinos, resorts, and virtual reality entertainment complexes in San Francisco and Tokyo, Japan, for Sony Corporation.

Art director and production manager at two southwestern fine arts bronze foundries. Oversaw production of cast bronze sculptures and placement of monumental bronze works. Designing and enlarging sculptures. Collaborating with artists, designers, architects, and arts organizations.
